Ananda Osel is a writer and photographer who's around. He's the Editor of CommonLine, an electronic literary quarterly.


Osel's poetry has been featured or is forthcoming in the New York Quarterly, Denver Syntax, The WanderLust Review, The Beat, Vain, About.com, Identity Theory, Word Riot, Silenced Press, Orange Room Review, Zygote In My Coffee, decomP, and others.

Essays and other commentaries have appeared in The Humanist, Washington Free Press, Word Riot Magazine, Korea Times, Kyunghyang Shinmun, Eloquent Atheist Magazine, and others.

Osel is the author of three critically acclaimed chapbooks of poetry: A SonofaBitch (2007, 2009), The Meter Is Running & We're Almost Out Of Change (2008), and Dispatches From the Third World (2009), all available from Proletariat Press.
